I am going to psycho myself into thinking i am not hungry because having everything possibly edible sitting in your house is not very helpful to those who want to look a big nicer for chinese new year... and be able to breathe in their clothes. HAHA. yes, the typical weight struggles, i feel like bridget jones
sans grandma undies. well, also without boy trouble.. one thing to be thankful for, least he's supportive.
Made stickydate cupcakes (
diet? what diet?) for dajie (birthday cake request), therefore, it justifies every single bit of it. plus! wanting to be some superchef justifies half of it anyway. okay, i see myself falling asleep while re-reading this. i shall go... look at pretty people and feel motivated. =)

food and more food
Foods been keeping me up all night, with me waking up bright and early, thinking about how to frost a cake. This addiction is killing me, for sure. everytime i wake up it's like 'dammit, there goes sleeping in...'
Oh well, I guess i've only myself to blame. Anyway, let's have a review from Josh about the Cheesecake. He said his whole family loves the cheesecake and that they all get HAPPY from eating it. I so did NOT drug it ok.=P haha, ask him yourself.
Today i got a new dress, nisa said it was droolworthy. heh, IT BETTER BE! but in any case, who'd have thought that i'd end up seeing some other girl wearing it while i'm at dinner in some veryvery deserted quaint little italian joint, cept hers was RED. HOLY! talk about singapore being small. makes it seem a whole lot smaller doesnt it?
ANYWHOS! 3 AND A HALF MORE WEEKS. but who's really counting? oh yes, me. =)

even chocolate's got a temper
vanilla scented orange syrup cooking in a potWhat i have found out today: the BEST way to get rid of chocolate from your fingers is to lick it off. Food for thought.
anyway! spent the morning trying to temper with chocolate, might have made a semi-successful attempt at it. I will let you know. Also, got round to making my FIRST order of a cake, more specifically, a cheesecake. blueberry of course just because no other berry will do. =) Josh is coming to pick it up tomorrow, goodie.
IF ANYONE WANTS TO PLACE AN ORDER, JUST TAG ME! i am more than happy to get cracking on my baking business. (and josh, do boast about how GOOD it tastes...)
Apologies for the lack of postings, i've been pretty lazy and caught up with other things, like going to Little India and eating super yummy thosai and Mango lassi. I am an official Little India fan. =) Got my sari too, it's the ready made type, which is cheating of course but no one really needs to know. =P

Finally caught up with michelle and josh and a couple of others yesterday at Jx's play. heh. It was good, funny and sarcastic humour, Jx prolly has the makings of something exploding with talent.=) mostly, the part that bugged me was that it was
SO Trinity (let's say, so last
last year), but HEY, whatever. singapore is pretty small, so lets just say, the circle of friends thing is even like, smaller.
anyway, apart from work and seeing my colleagues veryvery often (just coz we love each other so much we go out after work all the time), nothing much has been happening. The most exciting thing i can come up with to tell you is that i was caught in a natural disaster, the FLOOD. nuts i swear. went to JB yesterday for abit with my mom, to catch up with my cousin and YAY it decides to raiiinnnn like nobody's business and roads were pretty much inaccessible by the time we deicded we had enough shopping. thankgod Rashid saved us, with his awesome driving skills. so YAY (please note the different tone in the yay's)
OHWELL. i am so lucky i live on a hill in singapore, on the thirteenth floor.

the bigger picture
Worked today, even though i was sooooo sleepy. haha, most people at work were in the same boat. poor jerome and lawrence, worked for 27 hours. I don't think i can complain anymore. heh! OHWELL!
Im actually glad that i'm working and that i worked on new year's day. I don't know, maybe it's like proving to myself that i CAN do something if i want to. and all the friends i've made, i love all of that. The idea of belonging somewhere and identifying with people. You sorta lose that once you leave secondary/jc. Funny, like they say, people all want to be individuals with a place they belong to.
I am missing fredddddd. Almost halfway there baby.=)
